NIF welcomes Foreign Minister Wong’s condemnation of the heinous and horrific attacks by Hamas and stands by the government's continued support of Israel's right to defend itself in accordance with international law.

We reiterate our calls for the return of hostages immediately, an on-going commitment to protecting civilians, the establishment of a humanitarian corridor and praise this additional provision of aid. As the motion that passed the House of Representatives today stated, “innocent civilians on all sides are suffering as a result of the attacks by Hamas and the subsequent conflict.”

NIF will continue to strive for peace and justice for all in the region, and with over $100,000 raised to date in emergency aid for the victims of this senseless violence, we will also continue to fundraise for those impacted by this senseless and horrific violence.
