Launch of Kingdom of Olives and Ash - Sydney

We are proud to launch the book “Kingdom of Olives and Ash”, a collection of essays marking the 50th year of Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, co-edited by Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Chabon and New York Times bestselling author Ayelet Waldman.

26 Jewish, Israeli, Palestinian and global authors – including Geraldine Brooks, Mario Vagos Llosa, Chabon and Waldman – each contributed an essay exploring the ongoing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

This event – featuring voices with unique experiences in Israel – is an opportunity to engage with the daily reality of Israelis and Palestinians, and gain a deeper understanding of the political and social reality in Israel today.

A Q&A will follow the discussion as well as book signing from the authors.
