2020 was a year unlike any other we’ve faced before – a global pandemic, political instability around the world, and attacks on democracy in Israel.
Our grantees turned on a dime to fight for access to healthcare, information about how to stay safe, and economic relief for the most marginalised people: Arab citizens, African asylum seekers, women, Ethiopian Israelis, and Palestinians living under occupation.
The pandemic didn’t just throw the world into a state of crisis. It also exposed deep inequities and vulnerabilities that already existed in Israeli society. These needs aren’t going away in 2021.
And with your help, NIF will be there to help continue to meet them.
