From The Social Justice Protests To Today - A Conversation With Boaz Rakocz

"From The Social Justice Protests To Today"

BoazWe are pleased to invite you to an evening with Israeli social justice activist Boaz Rakocz.

It's been six years since almost half a million Israelis took to the streets to demand social justice. What's happened since then? The economic divide between rich and poor has increased, Prime Minister Netanyahu is still in power, and social justice-minded Israelis don't seem any closer to realising the dreams that brought them to the streets in the first place.

Join Israeli Boaz Rakocz, currently setting up media watchdog "The Whistle" in Israel, and previously the director of social justice organisation "The Social Guard", as we discuss what we can do to ensure Israel lives up to the values of social justice, democracy and inclusion.

** Under 35s only **

We'll be providing some vegetarian snacks on the night for you to enjoy.

Boaz is also speaking at our screening of "Magash Hakesef" ("The Silver Platter") on Sunday September 11. You can see more details on our website.
