EcoPeace Middle East is a unique organisation that brings together Israeli, Palestinian, and Jordanian environmentalists around cooperative efforts to protect our shared natural heritage. Our three offices – in Amman, Ramallah, and Tel-Aviv, each led by one of the organisation’s co-directors – model our vision of cooperation by working closely together to advance our mission.

EcoPeace is guided by two interlocked goals: advancing the conditions necessary for lasting peace in our region alongside sustainable regional development.

EcoPeace is known as a global leader in the field of environmental peacebuilding and was recently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of its achievements over the past 30 years.

Throughout the war, we have continued to bring together participants for national and regional programming focused on the power of cross-border environmental cooperation to advance peace. In Gaza we have provided WASH supplies, advocated to reopen water supply pipes, and helped push forward plans for a humanitarian corridor from Jordan for more effective delivery of aid.

EcoPeace continues to promote its vision for the day after in Gaza – the Peace Triangle addition to IMEC – to ensure the peace and prosperity of all the people of our region, Palestinians, Jordanians, and Israelis alike.
