These past few months have been challenging and oftentimes demanding. Since October 7, our attention has been tightly focused on the ongoing violence unfolding in Israel and Gaza.

Our calls to immediately return the hostages, our concern for loss of life and our attentiveness to rising tensions locally have put significant pressure on us all. These past weeks have been dramatic and tense.

This event aims to respond to the many challenges in this moment and answer how we can deal with these various dilemmas. With guidance, advice and reflections from community leaders, the event aims to help shape our community’s dilemmas that have been sustained since the heinous acts of October 7.

Join Rabbanit Ellyse Borghi and AUJS GM, Joey Wilkinson for a discussion that talks to the awful news coming from Israel-Palestine each day and increased challenges locally in Australia.

We’ll also host a short update from NIF Israel CEO, Mickey Gitzin, in order to bring some more detail about the current reality in Israeli society.
