New York Times columnist and three-time Pulitzer Prize winner Thomas L. Friedman is one of the world's most influential journalists. He will be joined in this New Israel Fund event by ABC journalist Geraldine Doogue.
Thomas Friedman's weekly columns about politics, foreign affairs and globalisation are syndicated in newspapers across the world. He won the first of his Pulitzer Prizes in 1983 for international reporting from Lebanon, another in 1988 for international reporting from Israel, and his third in 2002 for his columns after the September 11th attacks.
He is also the author of seven bestselling books, among them the National Book Award-winning From Beirut to Jerusalem and the #1 New York Times bestseller The World Is Flat. His latest book is Thank You for Being Late: An Optimist's Guide to Thriving in the Age of Accelerations.
